Bus Delays and Schedules

Late Buses: Like you, we have noticed multiple delays with the bus schedules as the district gets back to 'normal'.  We've been forwarding concerns to SDUSD Bus Transportation Services and will continue to do so.   With the shortage of school bus drivers in the county, SDUSD has had to and is continuing to hire qualified operators. New bus drivers are also adjusting to the school year and to their routes. 

We encourage parents to call the district directly for late-bus issues and concerns. Per the district website, if a bus is more than 10 minutes late, please call: 858-496-8460. 

The District provides the following Late Bus List: http://transportation2.sandi.net/Latebus.htm  Per the district, "this link is supposed to be updated every minute, but only works if someone from operations inputs it into the system. When a driver, school or parent report a late bus, it is supposed to be documented and put into the status."

Early Buses: We have also had a few reports of buses leaving before their posted departure time.  Posted departure times should be adhered to and if you experience otherwise, please let us know or contact the district directly.
