Marshall Middle School Bus Open Registration (May 4th-25th)
Registration is currently open for all families with students who will be attending Marshall Middle School next year and reside in the San Diego Unified school district.
Priority registration will be given to the following:
1) Returning Riders - Students who were assigned a seat from the previous year, and who will be attending Marshall Middle School in the fall, will have priority over new riders providing their account with the San Diego Unified School District transportation department is paid in full by the last day of registration. Returning Riders must submit an online registration form within the registration window each year to continue service.
2) Siblings of Returning Riders - Siblings of Returning Riders that will be attending Marshall Middle School in the fall will also have priority over new registrants. However, both siblings must be Marshall Middle School students at the same time in order to reserve a seat for the sibling, otherwise the incoming MMS student will be subject to the lottery system. Siblings must be registered on the same online form as the Returning Rider via the registration process.
You will only be able to register for 1 bus route. If more registrations are received for a given route than bus seats available, a lottery will be used to determine who will make it on the bus and the order for the waiting list. Details for the lottery (scheduled for June 2nd) will be emailed to all families once registration is closed.
To assist families in selecting which route to register for, the following preregistration numbers provide approximate available seats open for each route:
Dingeman 1: 29
Dingeman 2: 13
Swan Lake: 25
EBS: 31
